Something that the consumer should do is to cross compare the different brands. Some may have different options. Look at all of the options and compare pricing and then decide on which one to purchase. Look at the area that it will be placed and decide if it will look good there as it is or if the person needs to modify the area of placement. An LCD HDTV will last many years and should deliver a picture better than anything that one has ever had. Apple Inc. has graced the public with another smooth, white, exquisitely designed gadget, this time aiming at making it easier to play iTunes movies and songs on the living-room TV set. Too bad, then, that where looks really matter - in the quality of the video on the TV screen - the $299 Apple TV comes up very short.
